API Key

To create your API Key for ATX:

  1. Log in to your CCH iFirm account as the Admin user.

  1. Click Security.

  1. Click iFirm Network.
  2. Under Application, locate Tax Integration - ATX and click Add Access.

CCH iFirm API Key

  1. Copy the API KEY. This is your access to CCH iFirm from ATX.
  2. Do one of the following:
  3. Click the Preferences button on the toolbar.
  4. From the Return Manager, E-file Manager, or Bank Manager, click the Options menu; then, select Preferences.
  5. From the Rollover Manager, click the Tools menu; then, select Preferences.
  1. Click the Return Manager Preferences tab.
  2. Paste the AI Key in the API Key box.

Make sure you enter your CCH iFirm address in the CCH iFirm Website Address field. The address is located on your subscription e-mail.

  1. Click Apply.
  2. Click OK to close.
